UCC Societies Awards[edit]

The Philosoph enjoyed some success in the 2015/2016 Societies Guild STARS awards, winning Best Collaborative Event for a talk given by death row survivors Peter Pringle and Sunny Jacobs, held in conjunction with the Amnesty Society and the International Development Society. Auditor of the 165th Session Sarah Dunphy won a Society Achievement award, and Auditor of the 166th Session Clodagh Feehely won a Bene Merenti award, although the Societies Guild did spell her name wrong on the engraving.
