The 164th Session ran from 1st June 2010 to 1st June 2011.
A spending cap of €20,000 introduced by the Societies Guild meant that there was quite a lot of budget slashing at the beginning of the year. However the session still managed an incredibly successful competitive year, seeing UCC take home the National Maidens win, and the Trinity IV win.
The Cork IV was particularly successful, and received very positive feedback, making a profit despite very little guild funding. The Cork EUDC 2016 bid originated in the 164th session, convened by Ciara Grant, which would ultimately be defeated by a bid from Warsaw at Zagreb EUDC 2014.
